Noelle Cajigas joins Rewilding Spain’s Board of Trustees

Noelle Cajigas has joined as new member of Rewilding Spain’s Board of Trustees, aiming at enhancing the strategic development of the organization for the coming years, as well as strengthening the leading role of the foundation in the rewilding movement in Spain.

Noelle Cajigas is a member of the Management Commitee of KPMG Spain, where she is the partner in charge of the Deal Advisory division; in addition, she leads this business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.  This area of the firm is responsible for advising clients on everything related to investment, divestment, and the transformation process that inorganic change produces in companies, institutions and investment funds. Noelle holds a degree in European Business Studies (E-4) from ICADE and spent the first stage of her career in London at various investment banks, including BNP Paribas, from where she joined KPMG in 2016 and where she led the Capital Markets and Corporate Debt area for Spain, Portugal and Greece.

As a rewilding enthusiast, Noelle firmly believes that this innovative conservation and nature recovery movement is “a valuable driver for prosperity, at all levels, for Spanish and European society”.

Noelle Cajigas’ extensive experience and background in business will be of great value in the consolidation of Rewilding Spain action, particularly at this growing stage for the organization, which is working in new lines of activity aimed at extending the rewilding movement throughout Spain.

Rewilding Spain’s Board of Trustees is chaired by the biologist and nature communicator Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente. Lawyer Marco Bolognini (MAIO Legal) and Jordi Palau, a forestry engineer and author of the book Rewilding Iberia. Exploring the potential of rewilding in Spain are also trustees. The Foundation’s general manager, Mara Zamora, as secretary of the Board of Trustees.
